The winning work, ‘Meta Music System’, is a Metaverse music product (mobile app) created with artificial intelligence. It is a game-based service that allows you to walk into the music video of your favorite musician, decorate the musician according to your taste, acquire musical items, and artificial intelligence develops your music into your own music.
It is a form that redefines the relationship between fans and musicians, allowing listeners to participate as creators rather than mere listeners or purchasers of music-related products. In other words, ready-made music + personalized play is possible. On the technical side, an automatic music growth algorithm and an artist visual growth system were introduced.
Regarding receiving the Best Innovation Award, Versys CEO Lee Seong-wook said, “While existing music products consist only of recorded sound sources, Versys’ meta music system expands the definition of a music product appropriate for the metaverse era to include not only sound sources but also musicians and world views. “Also, we gave fans the power to not only listen to music, but also directly experience the virtual world created with the theme of music and change it to their own tastes, elevating them to active subjects of music appreciation.”
Versis received the CES 2022 Innovation Award for ‘FIGHTMAN: SUMIN’s Interactive Single’, a collaboration with musician Sumin.
