Nova L&P participated in ‘KOPLAS 3 (14th International Plastics & Rubber Industry Exhibition)’ held at KINTEX, Ilsan for 18 days from March 5th (Tue) to 2023th (Sat) and was excited. Abrasive materials were introduced.
Nova produces abrasive itself with domestic pure technology, and designs and manufactures equipment exclusively for NOVA abrasive. We are continuing our research to produce high-quality parts with solutions suitable for individual companies, such as fully automated drag machines through collaboration.
In this exhibition, we mainly introduced our self-developed elastic abrasive. The company explains that the mold lapping (finishing) work, which was previously carried out manually, can be done simply and more precisely by using elastic abrasives and dedicated equipment.
Noval & P’s elastic abrasives are specialized abrasives for improving the roughness and polishing of molds after mold processing, and are widely applied to molds requiring complex shapes or ultra-precision. In addition to molds, it is applied to various fields such as cutting tools, precision gears, medical equipment, pre- and post-coating treatment, artificial joints, semiconductor parts, and electric/hydrogen vehicle parts.
In addition, by developing both blast and drag finishing equipment optimized for elastic abrasives, it helps customers implement automation. It is divided into a blast method in which abrasives are sprayed and processed, and a drag finishing method in which an object is put into an abrasive and rotated. Accordingly, drag finishing can be applied only to shapes that can be rotated, and blast equipment can be applied regardless of the shape. there is.
An official from Noval & P said, “KOPLAS is a place where a variety of products from plastic raw materials to molds and processing machinery are introduced, so we want to discover potential customers and raise awareness by actively introducing abrasives and dedicated equipment that can be applied to the mold field. do,” he said.
On the other hand, KOPLAS, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary in 27, provides various attractions from raw materials for plastics to molds, processing machines, related auxiliary devices, automation solutions, printing, packaging, semi-finished products, and finished products, and presents the present and future of related industries. A ‘place for the plastic rubber-related industry’ was established. As it was held concurrently with the Korea Material·Composite Materials and Equipment Exhibition (K-Mtech) and the International Mold and Related Equipment Exhibition (INTERMOLD KOREA), various products were introduced in one place.
