Koduct participated in the ‘6th International Maritime Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX 7)’ held at Busan BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 from June 1 (Wed) to 13 (Fri).
Established in 1997, Koduct has been developing industrial wire protection devices and defense-related special equipment. At this exhibition, tactical ascenders, ammunition feeding chutes, rotating smart gun storage boxes, and boarding support robots were introduced.
Among them, the tactical ascender KPA is a battery-powered type that can be quickly ascended and descended using a rope. It is a device that uses portable power to pull or release a rope to safely and efficiently move a load vertically or horizontally. It is classified as a motor-powered ascender and an engine-powered ascender.
An official from Kodact explained, “KPA is less likely to fall because it uses a double safety device, and it is made of aluminum alloy, so it has good durability and can be moved horizontally as well as vertically.”
Equipment that guides the ammunition from getting caught between gunshots, including a bullet feeding chute essential for RWCS, an intelligent gun storage box for real-time management and control of guns, and a boarding support robot that is attached to the surface of the ship and automatically moves up to the deck to install a hook. Introduced.
