TurnOn Electronics participated in the ‘6th International Maritime and Defense Industry Exhibition (MADEX 7)’ held at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 9 in Busan from Wednesday, June 1th to Friday, June 13th.
Since its founding in 1984, TurnOn Electronics has accumulated technological capabilities by handling navigation communication and target detection equipment for ships (merchant ships/guard ships/warships/special ships) for 39 years. Through this, our goal is to support the best products with skilled technology.
REMUS, an underwater unmanned exploration submersible introduced at this exhibition, is equipment used to detect and identify sunken ships and mines on the seafloor, monitor submarines for port defense, and identify and explore the topography of the seafloor.
REMUS 100 can be operated on small boats and RIB boats, and can be mounted on rescue ships, rescue ships, minesweepers, etc. and used for coastal underwater surveillance. Domestic military support is also available through installation and testing at TurnOn Electronics.
In addition, it has been operated by the US, UK, and Netherlands navies with optional equipment such as video cameras and multi-beam echo sound, including equipment mounted on unmanned submarines.
Meanwhile, MADEX 2023 is a ‘defense exhibition and government subsidy-supported exhibition (Korea Defense Industry Promotion Association)’ for publicity and export promotion of defense and export companies.
