Sound Platform (CEO Seo Jeong-hoon) announced its participation in the ‘2024 World IT Show (WIS 2024)’ to be held at COEX in Seoul from April 17th (Wednesday) to 19th (Friday) for three days.
Founded in 2019 with the slogan ‘Beyond the Sound,’ Sound Platform has developed advanced sound technology based on its professional studio environment, a network of domestic and international sound engineers, and expertise in music and IT (Information Technology) fields.
Through this, Sound Platform has released services such as the functional sound therapy app ‘Mulief,’ the AI mastering service ‘Munute,’ and the sleep-enhancing music app ‘Zalza,’ both domestically and internationally. Munute and Zalza will be the main focus of this year’s WIS.
Munute is an AI mastering service based on deep learning, which quickly and precisely executes mastering comparable to studio quality using data learned from actual commercial tracks.
With the recent update accompanying its official release, Munute now provides an improved AI algorithm, maximizing the potential of music mastering. The company expects this addition to have high utility across the industry. Additionally, through collaboration with top-tier mastering engineers in Korea, implementing the ‘Human Retouch’ system is expected to present a new business model in the sound and mastering market.
Zalza is a service aimed at improving sleep efficiency for individual users. Produced in consultation with a sleep specialist from Bundang Seoul National University Hospital, it creates a brainwave timeline based on the 90-minute sleep cycle, enhancing the credibility of its sleep content.
Moreover, the sleep-specialized music provided in the app is a synthesis of brainwave frequencies and pink noise, inducing natural sleep for users and helping establish healthy sleep routines.
Sound Platform stated, “Munute has achieved over 50,000 cumulative users in over 170 countries since its global launch, with 97% of total users being international.” They continued, “Zalza also shows a 15% ratio of international users, with about half being users from the United States, where reputable sleep tech companies compete. We are proud of the diverse positive responses and significant achievements from various countries and regions.”
They added, “In the future, our Munute service will introduce the ‘Pro Engineer’ model, where engineers will provide studio mastering, and we will also introduce features supporting one-click music distribution after mastering within the fourth quarter of this year.” Furthermore, “Zalza plans to expand its market area further with additional pet-friendly music content added in December last year. Additionally, we are vigorously developing personalized features as auxiliary tools for sleep guidance.”
Under the theme of ‘Innovation and Connection, All Possibilities of the Digital World, World IT Show,’ WIS 2024 will showcase the latest technologies and products in the fields of ICT Convergence, Digital Twin & Metaverse, Smart Living and Healthcare, Robotics, Intelligent Mobility, Blockchain and Security, Quantum Information Technology, and more.
