Jeilöstek Co., Ltd. (CEO Jaewon Han) announced that it participated in the ‘7 Korea International Safety & Health Show (KISS 3)’ held at KINTEX in Goyang from Monday, July 6 to Thursday, July 2023.
Jeilöstek is a specialized respiratory protective equipment manufacturing company established in 1988. We independently research, develop, produce, and sell full-face masks (FFM9000), half-face masks (RM7200, RM7100, RM3000, RM2000), and face filter masks (DP, DPF) products used throughout heavy industrial industries such as shipyards and steel mills. After the coronavirus outbreak, KF94/KF80 (2D, 3D) health masks are being supplied to businesses and general consumers.
This exhibition introduced safety protective equipment needed in industrial settings. In particular, Jeilöstek emphasized that it places importance on worker safety and domestically produces and supplies dust masks that block dust and gas masks that block harmful gases.
The ‘FFM9000’ product, introduced as a full-face mask among industrial masks, is a mask that protects the entire face and the user’s respiratory tract, and has received the grand prize at the 2021 Protective Equipment Fair. It can be easily adjusted using a 6-point method, and the viewing angle is excellent due to the 3D type curved surface. Additionally, it is equipped with a voice transmission panel to make work easier for workers.
An official from Jeilöstek said, “It was not until the late 1980s in Korea that the need for safety protective equipment to improve the working environment increased, but due to the weak manufacturing base and industrial history at the time, we had to rely on imports for most of the safety protective equipment.” As long as our country’s history continues, factories will continue to operate and workers will exist. With the thought that “personal safety protective equipment cannot be used as an external product in a shipyard, which is the number one exporter,” we devoted ourselves to research, development, and manufacturing to create high-performance respirators suited to our body type, and through painstaking research and effort, we have devoted ourselves to dust-proofing. “We developed a mask,” he explained.
Currently, Jeilöstek products are registered and supplied to large shipyards such as Hyundai Heavy Industries and Samsung Heavy Industries and large steel mills such as POSCO and Hyundai Steel. In addition, overseas, it is exported to shipyards in China (Samsung Heavy Industries affiliate) and Vietnam (Hyundai Mipo Dockyard affiliate).
An official said, “The grade of the gas purifier that blocks harmful gases is determined by the gas concentration. “It is divided into minimum concentration, low concentration, medium concentration, and high concentration. Currently, our products are only certified for the lowest and low concentration gas canisters,” he said. “We plan to develop mid-concentration gas canisters in the future, and in addition, we will introduce a new half-type mask. The product is being developed with the goal of launching it next year. “We will protect the safety of workers in industrial sites with a variety of products with excellent performance and quality.”
