    Genie Works Co., Ltd. (CEO Ang Lee) participated in the ‘4 World IT Show (WIS 19)’ held at COEX in Seoul from Wednesday, April 21th to Friday, April 2023st.

The company explained that it is growing rapidly by securing a large customer base targeting telecommunications companies, mobile apps, and advertising agencies, and building a value chain that can coexist with customers. Its main focus is on the commerce network platform ‘Sellerd’, as well as the marketing platform ‘Admus’ and travel solution ‘OAAS’.

    Genie Works, which was selected as a target company for the Baby Unicorn 200 development project hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups last year, participated in this exhibition with the support of the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development, which runs the project, and participated in the customized event promotion platform ‘Admus’ and ERP solution for travel agencies ‘OAAS’. ‘ was introduced.

    A Genie Works official said, “Game-type event promotions are effective because they have a higher customer participation rate than other marketing methods. “We have more than 5 types of HTML100-based minigames developed in-house, and customers can easily customize them,” he said. “For example, inserting products or logos into visual elements in the game. If you create a mobile game event like this and create a link, it is spread by inserting it as a banner within the service or inserting it into Kakao Talk, text messages, etc. “It even supports real-time statistics screens and operations,” he explained.

    In addition, ‘Genifun’, which developed Admus, allows game events to be created and operated through customers’ accounts within the service in a B2B SaaS format. This means that customers visit the app more often to get fun and rewards from games, and the retention rate also increases. It was emphasized that the client company could earn additional advertising revenue by inserting video advertisements before and after the game.

    The development of OAAS, which was introduced together, is said to have originated from regret over the underdeveloped work environment of small and medium-sized travel agencies. An official said, “In the case of global OTAs and large domestic travel agencies, they were able to prepare for the rapidly changing tourism industry and digital transformation because they had capital power, but most small and medium-sized travel agencies were unable to make such investments due to the coronavirus pandemic.” “Through this, even small travel agencies lacking digital capabilities can easily establish an online platform.”

    OAAS is an ERP solution that can easily handle real-time product reservations, customer management, and accounting management for airlines, hotels, golf, and activities around the world. It has increased efficiency by unifying the existing manual tasks online. It also supports various templates that allow small and medium-sized travel agencies to create their own B2C sales sites.

    An official said, “This year, we plan to launch a next-generation model that is an advanced version of our commerce network platform ‘Sellerd.’ The commerce network platform was the first designed by the company, and its concept is to provide shopping services where customers gather. “It is a platform that allows media companies operating mobile apps/web services that already have an existing customer base to easily open their own commerce services and provide competitive shopping services to their customers,” he explained.

    He continued, “This year, we are preparing to launch a new service based on data by combining our capabilities in commerce, advertising, and travel. In addition, we are also preparing new businesses related to the travel platform.”
