HD Hyundai Infracore announced that it will participate in World Hydrogen Expo 2025 (WHE 2025), which will take place at KINTEX from December 4 to December 7.

HD Hyundai Infracore is a Korean company that demonstrates global competitiveness across a wide range of industries, including construction equipment, engines, various attachments, and industrial machinery.

HD Hyundai Infracore offers comprehensive powertrain and system solutions to customers, backed by a broad engine lineup ranging from 1 to 27 liters and high-quality, high-specification products that meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations. The company also leads the development of hydrogen engines for mobility, construction equipment, and power generation, contributing to carbon neutrality.

At this exhibition, HD Hyundai Infracore will present products that represent its research and development achievements as core solutions. A representative model is the HX12, a hydrogen engine designed for vehicles and power generation. The company plans to begin mass production in 2026 and is currently conducting pre-production tests by installing the engine in commercial trucks produced by Tata Daewoo Mobility.

HD Hyundai Infracore will also display the HX22, which it develops for generator sets used in zero-carbon distributed energy business models. The HX22 is a 500 kW-class hydrogen engine that the company is growing in cooperation with U.S.-based Amogy, which holds ammonia-cracking technology. The engine offers strong performance, flexible output control, and scalability.

HD Hyundai Infracore plans to supply the HX22 as a container-integrated modular generator set to improve space efficiency and reduce deployment costs for hydrogen energy infrastructure.

An HD Hyundai Infracore official said, “Through this exhibition, we plan to present the hydrogen engines currently under development, the results achieved so far, and the business strategies we plan to pursue using these technologies,” adding, “These products already attract strong interest from partners in Korea, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia, and we are discussing exports for vehicle and power-generation applications.”

The official added, “In addition, we aim to supply buses, trucks, and generator sets using hydrogen engines to potential partners and customers in North America and Europe, while continuously expanding our hydrogen engine lineup to secure leading leadership in the eco-friendly powertrain market.”

Meanwhile, the World Hydrogen Expo 2025 is the world’s largest hydrogen industry event, bringing together hydrogen companies from around the globe to showcase the latest technologies and trends and create opportunities for global cooperation. Starting this year, the Hydrogen International Conference and the hydrogen industry exhibition H2 MEET have merged into a single event that integrates exhibitions and conferences. Companies from Korea and abroad will present next-generation hydrogen technologies, spanning the entire value chain from production to storage, transportation, and utilization. The event aims to establish itself as a global hub for sharing innovative technologies and market strategies.
