Young Hyun Robotics (CEO Wook Jin Lee) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 (Wednesday) to October 26 (Saturday).
Young Hyun Robotics emphasizes collaboration and innovation with its team, customers, and partners. The company pursues sustainable growth alongside local industries and drives technological innovation and productivity improvement through automated robotic systems. It also focuses on sustainability, customer-centric solutions, safety, and progressiveness.
At FIX 2024, the company highlighted its evolution from a collaborative robot and AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) specialist to a pioneer of dual-arm AMR systems and humanoid projects, showcasing the growth of domestic robotics technology.
The dual-arm AMR system integrates autonomous driving with collaborative robot capabilities, enabling joint control of robotic arms, mobile chassis, vision systems, and other equipment. It supports single-machine operation and multi-machine scheduling for efficient task management.
The humanoid AI robot Jinny, developed with proprietary technology, attracted attention for its versatility in responding to customer needs across various industrial settings. Other innovations, such as a crewless coffee kiosk, a logistics massage therapy robot, and a crewless ice cream robot with customer coding functionality, also captured visitors’ interest.
A company representative stated, “This year marks a milestone for developing our humanoid robot, Jinny. With ongoing technological upgrades and supply chain validation, we expand humanoid robot R&D to address diverse industrial requirements. Global enterprises have already tested the technology, and we are keeping pace with this progress.”
They added, “By incorporating AI technology into our dual-arm AMR systems and humanoid robots, we aim to enable robots to perform a wider range of tasks flexibly, reduce costs, and increase their accessibility, ultimately contributing to the popularization of the robotics industry.”
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
