    ST Youngwon (CEO Soonsik Kwon) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 to 26. It showcased its cutting-edge DURONIC 8300 production line for lithium-ion battery separators.

    Specializing in manufacturing innovative wet separator production systems for lithium-ion batteries, ST Youngwon aims to lead the global market by offering advanced solutions through one-stop consulting. The company’s systems are designed for ultra-wide and high-speed production, maximizing efficiency and capacity. Its R&D team focuses on pioneering design innovations and engineering systems to enhance customer value.

    To help clients reduce production costs, ST Youngwon continually develops environmentally friendly equipment that enables faster and wider production of high-performance wet separators for lithium-ion batteries.

    The company has installed four production lines for separator manufacturers in China, has ongoing orders, and plans to aggressively expand into global markets, including India, Vietnam, the United States, and Europe.

    At FIX 2024, ST Youngwon highlighted its DURONIC 8300 production line, which can produce separators with a width of 8.3 meters at speeds of up to 120 meters per minute. According to company representatives, this system increases production efficiency by up to 60% compared to previous methods.

    FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
