JFM (CEO Jihyun JH Kim) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held at EXCO from October 23 to 26.

Specializing in testing solutions for evaluating the performance, safety, and reliability of batteries (secondary cells), JFM has established partnerships with leading international testing equipment manufacturers. The company has earned clients’ trust in the automotive, electronics, and aerospace industries by supplying cutting-edge products with advanced specifications and options.

At FIX 2024, JFM showcased its battery testing safety systems, designed to ensure the safety of facilities and personnel during tests, which may involve risks such as fires or explosions. These systems include automatic fire suppression units that respond immediately to explosions and sensors that quickly detect fires, enabling other systems to activate in time. Additionally, dual-lock mechanisms using electrical and mechanical methods enhance safety and security.

JFM’s safety systems are compatible with battery environmental testing equipment, such as temperature and humidity chambers and thermal shock testers. They integrate seamlessly with most manufacturers’ battery cycle measurement devices, ensuring high safety standards across complex tests. The company’s expertise includes tailoring configurations and specifications to meet customer needs.

A JFM representative stated, “We supply systems that support comprehensive testing environments, including battery durability, misuse safety, and performance tests. Leveraging in-house technology, we provide one-stop services from initial planning to after-sales support, addressing diverse customer demands.”

The representative added, “Our goal is to establish a leading position in the reliability testing equipment industry, offering solutions that protect personnel and assets from potential hazards in testing environments. We plan to continue expanding the scope of our solutions to support our customers’ sustainable product and service development.”

FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
