K&P (CEO Ki-jeong Cho) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO. Known for its long-standing expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), K&P specializes in manufacturing high-quality LED circuit boards for next-generation automotive infotainment systems and advanced mobile camera modules for autonomous vehicles and other electronic systems.

At FIX 2024, K&P showcased its proprietary SMT model for automotive LED arrays. This critical component is the foundation for infotainment systems, delivering diverse information and content to drivers and passengers inside vehicles. The advanced infotainment systems built on K&P’s LED arrays enhance vehicle experiences by offering rich, functional services.
The company’s products are manufactured using IATF16949-certified processes, which ensure minimal defect rates and robust quality assurance. With robotic soldering and traceability systems integrated into its manufacturing process, K&P maintains high reliability across its products and processes.
K&P also presented high-performance circuit boards from major brands that are used in camera and 3D sensing modules for smartphones and tablet PCs. These boards, made from ceramic substrates and 0201 chips, deliver exceptional and stable performance. They feature advanced manufacturing technologies, including 0.3mm-level BGA ball printing, placement, and curing, providing unmatched quality and precision. Enhanced cleaning processes, such as water-soluble solder printing, support high production yields.

Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
