DotStation (CEO Yoon Jo Lee) participated in the 2024 Future Innovation Tech Expo (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO. The company specializes in providing innovative battery swapping systems (BSS) alongside smart electric scooters, redefining the electric two-wheeler experience for users.
As the exclusive supplier of Gogoro, Taiwan’s leading electric two-wheeler brand, in Korea, DotStation is spearheading the development of battery-swapping infrastructure in the country. The company offers vehicle supply, maintenance services, and new model development while rapidly expanding its business scope.
DotStation currently operates over 270 charging stations across major locations, including Seoul. This extensive infrastructure supports its vision of becoming a “convenient energy platform” and leading the eco-friendly e-mobility market with cutting-edge technology.
At FIX 2024, DotStation unveiled GoStation 3.0, its advanced charging and battery-swapping infrastructure. A critical component of the Gogoro platform, GoStation facilitates fast and convenient energy supply. Certified with IP44-grade waterproof and dustproof features, it ensures safe and reliable operation under various environmental conditions.
DotStation also displayed Gogoro’s popular electric two-wheeler models, including the Gogoro S2 ABS, equipped with a high-efficiency electric motor that delivers performance equivalent to 125cc internal combustion engine scooters, and the Gogoro 2 Plus, featuring an extended range and a large two-person seat. These models garnered significant interest from attendees.
Additionally, DotStation introduced its in-house developed model, the EV-C1, which is compatible with Gogoro’s battery-swapping system. The EV-C1 boasts a liquid-cooled motor with a maximum output of 7.2kW and a design tailored to the needs of Korean riders, further enhancing its appeal.
A DotStation representative stated, “We aim to highlight the convenience and eco-friendliness of our electric two-wheeler products while showcasing DotStation’s unparalleled battery-swapping service. Our experience-driven booth design was created to enable direct customer interaction and foster two-way communication.”
