InnoPharma Co., Ltd. (CEO Sunghwan Kim) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO.
InnoPharma specializes in developing hemostatic products using biocompatible raw materials. It creates solutions for emergencies and everyday bleeding management. The company has focused on strengthening its advanced biomedical technology to provide patients with diverse and innovative medical products and services.
At the expo, InnoPharma showcased its hemostatic product, “Hemoblast.” This spray-aerosol product is designed to be applied directly to bleeding areas, allowing for precise and effective application even in hard-to-reach spots. Its exceptional convenience makes it useful for medical professionals and non-experts to control bleeding quickly in emergencies.
An MOU with the Daegu Advanced Medical Industry Promotion Foundation (K-Medi Hub) supported the development of Hemoblast. InnoPharma plans to secure domestic and international regulatory approvals and accelerate its entry into global markets.
An InnoPharma representative stated, “Our goal is to contribute to healthier and happier lives for everyone, emphasizing the provision of swift medical solutions anytime, anywhere, and to anyone. Starting with Hemoblast, we will intensify our efforts to develop products and services that ensure a healthier future for people worldwide.”
After obtaining the necessary approvals for Hemoblast distribution, InnoPharma will focus on securing market entry in countries with rapidly growing medical device and healthcare sectors. The company targets the US, where demand for emergency medical products like hemostatics steadily increases, and China, where aging populations drive the need for chronic disease and surgical products.
The representative added, “We are also eyeing Middle Eastern markets, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE, where healthcare infrastructure investments are surging under initiatives like Vision 2030. With the rise in chronic diseases and surgical procedures, the demand for hemostatic products is expected to grow, presenting new opportunities for companies like ours in the medical device sector.”
