    dSPACE Korea participated in the “2024 Future Innovation tech eXpo (FIX 2024)” held from October 23 to October 26 at Daegu EXCO. A global leader in mobility simulation and validation, dSPACE, a German company, provides a comprehensive tool chain for developing autonomous, electric, and connected vehicles. Its primary clients include automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, research institutions, and educational organizations, and its applications extend to the maritime, defense, and aerospace sectors.

    With approximately 2,700 employees in ten countries and its headquarters in Paderborn, Germany, dSPACE operates three project centers in Germany and branches in the U.S., U.K., France, Japan, China, Croatia, Korea, India, and Sweden.

    At FIX 2024, dSPACE Korea showcased its expertise in “Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving.” Positioned as a simulation and verification partner, dSPACE’s solutions are crucial in realizing safe autonomous vehicles. The dSPACE platform offers an open, integrated development and testing environment that spans data logging, production software, sensor testing, approval, and aftermarket applications.

    Additional offerings introduced at the event include the BMS HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulator for battery cell emulation, an electric vehicle charging solution compatible with standards such as NACS, ISO15118, DIN Spec 70121, CHadeMo, and ChaoJi, as well as FPGA-based motor and controller test solutions, fuel cell system testing, and power-level HIL systems.

    FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
