HR E&I (formerly Horyong) participated in the “2024 Future Innovation tech eXpo (FIX 2024)” held from October 23 to October 26 at Daegu EXCO. Known for combining high-lift platform expertise with electric drive platforms and smart solutions, HR E&I has been pioneering intelligent, eco-friendly equipment solutions since its founding, focusing on customer-centric solutions. The company has established a leading position in the high-lift platform market with products like ladders and aerial work platforms. It has expanded globally to the U.S., Europe, and Oceania markets.
Dedicated to creating a sustainable environment, HR E&I introduced its first eco-friendly electric excavator in 2019 and has since continually refined its products.
At FIX 2024, HR E&I unveiled its ‘Telescopic Handler’ electric excavator, which features remote control capabilities for stable and easy long-distance operation. This innovation enhances work environments by reducing noise and vibration and provides a safe solution for high-temperature or high-risk rough terrain operations through remote control.
HR E&I is also developing eco-friendly intelligent telescopic handlers and intelligent tractors to maximize safety and convenience in challenging work environments.
The HR E&I iX series integrates electric drive solutions and intelligent remote control functions into the excavator platform, enhancing eco-friendliness, user convenience, and safety. The series is evolving as a tool for mobile smart factories.

FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Startup Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
