HIOKI Korea (CEO Jiung Park) participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held at EXCO in Daegu from October 23 to 26.

HIOKI Korea is the Korean branch of HIOKI, a leading Japanese electrical measurement equipment manufacturer. Known for its four main product lines—automatic test equipment, recorders, electronic measuring devices, and field measuring instruments—HIOKI has established a strong global presence, offering solutions that support R&D and facility maintenance.

HIOKI Korea will highlight its flagship power analyzer, the PW8001, at the expo. This high-precision model offers up to 8-channel high-speed power analysis. Equipped with enhanced frequency bandwidth and noise-resistant current sensors, it provides an accurate and stable evaluation in power conversion efficiency tests for electric vehicles and chargers. Its compatibility with high-voltage direct inputs makes it suitable for evaluating wind and solar power conditioner systems.

HIOKI Korea will also display its MR6000 Memory HiCorder, which features a 12.1-inch touchscreen for intuitive operation. The MR6000 supports high-speed isolation measurements of up to 2000 MS/s and offers the fastest sampling rate. It is compatible with 18 different units, effectively capturing and recording various phenomena.

A HIOKI Korea representative stated, “As a specialized brand in electrical measurement solutions, HIOKI provides a range of instruments to keep pace with the rapid growth in electric and hydrogen vehicles and essential mobility components like motors, batteries, and chargers. Through this expo, we aim to introduce our broad product range and measurement solutions to potential clients leading the mobility industry.”

They also shared plans to release a powder impedance measurement system capable of measuring and analyzing the electrical properties of materials like battery components, solid electrolytes, and conductive materials. This system simultaneously measures load, impedance, and thickness and is expected to support the commercialization of solid-state batteries with high energy density and strong thermal and safety resistance.

FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing showcased trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, exhibited AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo displayed industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Start-up Arena” was introduced to facilitate meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
