FutureDrive participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO.

FutureDrive is a deep-tech startup staffed by DGIST and global Tier-1 companies experts who have long led the development of AI and autonomous driving software. The company’s vision is to “pursue the ultimate innovation in autonomous driving technology through open innovation with customers.”

To achieve the goal of “autonomous driving technology for all customers,” FutureDrive provides a reference autonomous driving software platform with high reliability, openness, and compatibility, along with integrated ADS development and validation solutions for customer use. They aim to accelerate technological innovation by building a collaborative ecosystem involving consumers and suppliers of autonomous driving technology.

To make AI and autonomous driving technology more accessible and faster to develop, FutureDrive offers full-stack autonomous driving reference software (AD-OSS) based on OSS (Openness, Sustainability, and Safety) principles. It also provides an integrated ADS development environment that supports the entire development process.

FutureDrive’s integrated ADS development/validation platform, a core competency, helps developers save time and costs. It also allows customers to quickly and easily integrate, test, and deploy various sensors, components, and third-party solutions with AD-OSS.

FutureDrive also offers an AI Lifecycle solution that supports building a data pipeline from data collection to learning, evaluation, and periodic deployment, including sensor placement, calibration, and the construction of autonomous sensing systems.

At the exhibition, FutureDrive introduced its ‘D-U-A (Design-yoUr-Autonomy)’ service, a customized autonomous mobility platform design and validation solution.

A FutureDrive representative stated, “Based on our reference ADS, we provide the D-U-A program, which helps build and validate user-customized autonomous driving systems (including obtaining the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s temporary autonomous driving license). Particularly for MaaS customers, we offer autonomous driving shuttle and delivery development partnerships based on our extensive real-road experience.”
