Daeseung participated in the Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024), held from October 23 to 26 at Daegu EXCO.
Daeseung Co., Ltd. researches and develops vehicle module-related components such as powertrain modules, coaxial e-powertrains, 2-speed coaxial transmissions, and 1-speed coaxial reducers.
The company, driven by a corporate culture of “uniting to achieve goals,” has expanded into three companies—Daeseung Co., Ltd., DS Korea Co., Ltd., and DS Global Co., Ltd.—growing into a strong enterprise. They strive to empathize with customers and enhance value through cost innovation, positioning themselves as a highly customer-satisfying company.
At this year’s exhibition, Daeseung introduced automotive transmission components. These parts transfer power between transmission shafts to move the vehicle. The HUB transfers engine power to the transmission, enabling smooth shifting without driver input and increasing torque through excellent launch performance as a key part of the torque converter. The Shaft, combined with gears in the transmission, transmits power to each shaft, playing a crucial role in vehicle movement.
The coaxial e-powertrain, suited for electric and hybrid vehicles, integrates the electric motor with mechanical elements, delivering high energy efficiency and performance. The company emphasized its minimal noise and vibration and excellent driving performance.
The coaxial 2-speed transmission optimizes power delivery across various driving conditions using two gears, improving fuel efficiency. Meanwhile, the 1-speed coaxial reducer, designed for compactness, enhances space efficiency and provides high torque for better vehicle acceleration.
Daeseung stated, “We prioritize the development of innovative technology and quality improvement, continuously strengthening our competitiveness in the automotive industry. We offer customized solutions tailored to customer needs and are committed to developing eco-friendly technologies for a sustainable future.”
FIX 2024 featured specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups.
