RGBLab Co., Ltd. (CEO Alex Kim) participated in the ‘Future Innovation Tech Expo 2024 (FIX 2024)’ held from October 23 to 26 at EXCO, showcasing its autonomous vehicle control platform to a global audience.

Positioned as a leader in future mobility, RGBLab highlighted its specialized on-device AI mission computer for crewless vehicles and robots, known as ‘Arion IMC,’ capturing industry attention. RGBLab’s proprietary technology, including its integrated software platform for remote control and monitoring of multiple autonomous vehicles, drives the company’s rapid growth in mobility.

RGBLab plans to expand its market reach into the logistics UAM (Urban Air Mobility) sector, a rising global segment. Their vision includes increasing their portfolio with technology suited to operate 45 kg-class crewless Advanced Air Vehicles (AAV) and integrated logistics UAM management systems.

At FIX 2024, RGBLab aimed to highlight Arion’s versatility to attendees by actively demonstrating its advanced features. The Arion platform offers a range of software tools for AI-based object tracking, coordinate estimation, and autonomous mission execution. RGBLab showcased these capabilities by winning the Ministry of Defense’s Drone Bot Challenge in the ‘Technical Challenge’ category, subsequently becoming the first to provide the Arion platform to the Korean Army.

The Arion platform also delivers essential goods, including medical supplies, to remote and underserved regions via drone services. Its application extends to public safety as a road monitoring system, such as Uljin-gun, where it has accumulated real-world success across various fields.

An RGBLab representative stated, “Our versatile Arion platform is already widely adopted by companies seeking to deploy autonomous vehicles and robots to perform human-equivalent tasks. As Arion’s application range grows, we aimed to leverage FIX 2024 to expand networks across multiple industries by sharing our success stories and highlighting our technology’s diverse applications.”

FIX 2024 features specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing will showcase trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, will exhibit AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies.
