MetaEduSys Inc. (CEO Jong Hee Bae) announced its participation in the Future Innovation-tech eXpo 2024 (FIX 2024) at Daegu EXCO from October 23 to 26.
MetaEduSys is a Ministry of Employment and Labor-certified innovative social enterprise that aims to address social challenges through advanced technology and integrated solutions. It focuses on VR, AR, MR, XR, AI, and metaverse technologies for national policies and user-centered applications.
The company offers solutions across various sectors, including disaster safety, digital future education, carbon neutrality, healthcare, culture, defense, space, and interactive experience centers.
At FIX 2024, MetaEduSys plans to introduce its ‘Metaverse Disaster Safety and Wildfire Prevention XR Training’ solution. This immersive VR content, designed for children and adults, is structured into four phases: Wildfire Experience, Identifying Causes of Wildfires, Wildfire Prevention, and Wildfire Extinguishing Experience.
Participants can learn about the risks of wildfires, understand their causes, and explore prevention methods. The program also teaches evacuation and escape strategies in the event of a wildfire, and users can take on the role of a firefighter to experience wildfire suppression firsthand.
Looking ahead, MetaEduSys expressed its plans to develop and refine customized products tailored to overseas markets to expand exports.
FIX 2024 will feature specialized exhibitions, conferences, and business programs focusing on mobility, robotics, AI, and startups. The Daegu International Future Auto & Mobility Expo 2024 at EXCO’s East Wing will showcase trends in UAM, autonomous driving, batteries, components, and services. Meanwhile, the 2024 ICT Convergence Expo Korea, held in the West Wing, will exhibit AI, big data, blockchain, ICT, and metaverse technologies. The 2024 Daegu Robot Expo will display industrial robots, humanoid robots, and digital transformation solutions for the robotics industry. The “Start-up Arena” will also be newly launched, facilitating meetings between startups and experts from startup accelerators like Samsung C-Lab and Plug and Play.
