Geumgang S&T (CEO Young-sik Kim) participated in the ‘H2 MEET 2024’ from September 25 (Wednesday) to 27 (Friday) at KINTEX, Goyang.
Geumgang S&T specializes in industrial and safety valves that control the flow of gases and liquids. The company supplies high-quality valves from renowned international brands and has 38 years of experience and expertise supporting safe facility installations across various industries.
At this exhibition, Geumgang S&T presented high-quality valve products from the valve manufacturing giant Emerson. Alongside these products, they introduced Emerson’s valve monitoring solutions, allowing real-time valve conditions diagnostics. These solutions enable the early detection of faults or abnormal operations, minimizing downtime and associated losses.
Emerson’s valve monitoring system provides real-time flow observation to detect leakage, operational issues in pressure safety valves (PSV), and leaks caused by damage to bellows-type safety valves. The system also supports wireless, non-intrusive transmitters, offering installation, operation, and maintenance ease.
Additionally, Emerson offers analytical tools that visually display the data collected from various measuring devices. These tools provide insights that help managers make data-driven decisions and prioritize maintenance needs, according to Geumgang S&T.
A company representative explained, “Identifying potential issues before they cause breakdowns or scheduling maintenance to prevent unexpected shutdowns is critical for cost-efficiency. Valve monitoring systems are essential for minimizing human and property damage caused by toxic or flammable fluids.”
They added, “By consistently supplying autonomous solutions and high-quality valves, Geumgang S&T will continue supporting customers in enhancing their creative work strategies and value creation. The advancement of industrial facilities and systems is the foundation for the industry’s future, and corporate investment and support in this area must continue.”
