Bumhan Fuel Cell participated in H2 MEET 2024 at KINTEX, Goyang, from September 25 (Wednesday) to 27 (Friday).
Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from its parent company, Bumhan Industries, Bumhan Fuel Cell aims to capitalize on the rapidly expanding global hydrogen industry. Leveraging its proprietary technology, the company has extended its business to manufacturing fuel cells for submarines and buildings and establishing hydrogen refueling stations.
Through continuous R&D investment and talent development, Bumhan Fuel Cell has achieved several certifications, including the World-Class Product Certification and the INNOBIZ (Innovative SME) designation, leading to its listing on KOSDAQ in 2022. The company continues diversifying its business portfolio by expanding into marine and power generation fuel cells, hydrogen fuel cells for buses, and the construction of liquefied hydrogen refueling stations.
At H2 MEET 2024, Bumhan Fuel Cell showcased models of submarine fuel cells, air compressors, hydrogen compressors, hydrogen refueling stations, and building-integrated fuel cells, highlighting its expertise in hydrogen-powered products across different sectors. The company also displayed fuel cells designed for buildings and mobility applications.
The submarine hydrogen fuel cell module, the second of its kind worldwide, has been successfully deployed in the Jangbogo-III class submarine and achieved its longest continuous operation in 2020. It features an integrated high-pressure compressor for complex cycling operations.
H2 MEET is a specialized hydrogen industry exhibition for Korean and international companies and institutions involved in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. From this year, H2 MEET aims to become a professional event that will enhance participation from global hydrogen industry companies, generate tangible results, and contribute to understanding South Korea’s hydrogen economy ecosystem. Starting this year, it will be held in conjunction with H2WORLD and concurrently with the K-BATTERY SHOW 2024 and HARFKO (Heating Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Fluid Exhibition—Korea) 2024 at KINTEX 1.
