    TÜV SÜD Korea Presents the Future of the Hydrogen Industry at H2 MEET 2024: “Supporting Sustainable Development”

    TÜV SÜD Korea Ltd. (CEO Jung-wook Seo) participated in ‘H2 MEET 2024,’ held from September 25 (Wednesday) to 27 (Friday) at KINTEX, Goyang, showcasing the latest solutions in the hydrogen industry.

    On the first day of the exhibition, during the Tech Talk session, Dr. Yang Liu, a hydrogen expert from TÜV SÜD, delivered a presentation titled ‘Green Hydrogen: China’s Journey Towards Decarbonization.’ Dr. Liu discussed the green hydrogen industry in China and the impact of global decarbonization efforts on green hydrogen standards. He also explored solutions to overcome challenges through TÜV SÜD’s hydrogen service portfolio.

    Throughout the three-day exhibition, TÜV SÜD Korea utilized its booth to leverage its expertise and experience in hydrogen technology, supporting the development of safe and reliable hydrogen energy solutions.

    One exhibition attendee expressed, “It was great to have the opportunity to consult directly with experts about technology in the hydrogen energy and mobility sectors.”

    Moon-bum Heo, Team Leader of TÜV SÜD’s Green Energy Department in Industrial Services, stated, “We will continue to support the sustainable development of the hydrogen industry and strive to meet our customers’ needs.”

    TÜV SÜD Korea expressed its commitment to collaborating with international experts to promote the growth of the global hydrogen industry.

    H2 MEET 2024 featured participation from 317 companies, including TÜV SÜD Korea. In addition to the Tech Talk session, the event included various programs such as the ‘Leaders Summit,’ which discussed the future of the hydrogen economy, and ‘Country Day,’ which explored opportunities for international cooperation in developing the hydrogen industry.

    H2 MEET is a specialized hydrogen industry exhibition for Korean and international companies and institutions involved in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and utilization. From this year, H2 MEET aims to become a professional event that will enhance participation from global hydrogen industry companies, generate tangible results, and contribute to understanding South Korea’s hydrogen economy ecosystem. Starting this year, it will be held in conjunction with H2WORLD and concurrently with the K-BATTERY SHOW 2024 and HARFKO (Heating Air Conditioning Refrigeration and Fluid Exhibition—Korea) 2024 at KINTEX 1.
