Hudson AI (CEO Hyunjin Shin) announced that it will participate in CES 2024, which will be held in Las Vegas, USA from Tuesday, January 9th to January 12th (Friday, local time) next year.
Hudson AI provides AI-based dubbing solutions to global media, entertainment, and creators that deliver the original value of content to global viewers. The official explains that this solution can dub in various languages with any voice, including the original cast’s voice. In particular, its strength lies in its ability to express vivid acting beyond the limitations of existing technology. Another characteristic feature is that the mouth shape generation technology can produce seamless dubbing as if the actor were speaking in a foreign language.
Hudson AI’s dubbing solution, which will be introduced at CES 2024, provides AI dubbing suitable for acting content such as dramas and movies. What is notable is that, unlike existing solutions that focused on information delivery content such as news and documentaries, the company pioneered the ‘acting’ genre.
In addition, excellent synthetic quality is also considered an advantage. Both Voice Conversion and Lip-sync Conversion are known to exceed SoTA performance. Hudson AI explained that when using the academic SoTA as a benchmark, Voice Conversion showed 2.7 times better performance in producing acting, and Lip-sync Conversion showed 2.96 times better synthesis quality, producing a level close to actual video quality.
In addition, while existing AI dubbing solutions had difficulty controlling the results, control of voice and video synthesis results was possible, and, unlike traditional VFX, AI-based fast and cost-effective quality control was introduced as a feature.
Hudson AI is currently collaborating with domestic media conglomerates, and exported to a Singaporean education company at the end of this year. In the future, we plan to expand our sales targeting North America, Europe, and Japan, and later aim to expand into Southeast Asia and South America. They plan to continue providing B2B services, and also announced plans to launch AI-based dubbing SaaS for creators in the first half of next year.
Meanwhile, ‘CES’, the world’s largest IT exhibition hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is an exhibition where you can see the flow of innovative technologies around the world at a glance and is held every January in Las Vegas, USA. AVING News, which has covered CES for 18 consecutive years, has reported CES news around the world every year since 2006, and has been selected through ‘BEST OF CES’ and ‘BEST OF MADE IN KOREA’, which select the best innovative products, companies and technologies. has been in progress. In addition, CES on-site issues are vividly conveyed through ‘AVING LIVE’.
