Organoid Science (CEO Jongman Yoo) announced that it plans to announce the world’s first organoid brand ‘Oasis’, which integrates its technology, at the 2022 Annual Meeting of the International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) on the 17th.
The International Stem Cell Research Association is an academic society comprised of over 4,000 stem cell researchers from over 60 countries around the world. Authorities in the field covering everything from basic stem cell research to treatment research gather together.
At the ‘Innovation Showcase’, which can be said to be the highlight of this annual conference held in San Francisco, USA for four days from June 15th to 18th, Organoid Science will present the previously introduced organoid-based drug efficacy evaluation platform and research and development of regenerative treatments. In addition to the presentation of results, solutions for researchers using organoids and services using organoids will all be presented on site.
Organoid Science, which aroused the interest of domestic and foreign academic circles due to the publication of a paper on the study of coronavirus infectivity and infectiousness of tonsil epithelial organoids and the use of an antiviral evaluation platform in the international journal Biomaterials, is engaged in research and development in various fields. The company plans to integrate the organoids being used into one brand, ‘Oasis’, and leap forward as a global company specializing in everything related to organoids based on its confidence in technology.
Organoid Science CTO (Technical Director) Gyeong-jin Lee, who will be a presenter at the site, said, “This presentation is not a place to simply announce research results, but to change the paradigm to a place to prove on the global stage that we are leading the organoid industry. “He expressed his ambition, saying, “We will do our best to create value for everyone, including researchers and medical professionals who use organoids.”
Organoid Science, which is actively participating in global academic conferences including the recently held AACR and ASCO, will participate in the ISSCR annual meeting and BIO-USA held in San Diego, USA, to discuss various partnerships with global companies. Is expected.
