
Kakao Brain has begun research and development of a large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) model in the healthcare field.
Kakao Brain announced that it recently signed a business agreement (MOU) with Korea University Anam Hospital for research on ultra-large AI models in the medical field. This is the second business agreement with the hospital since the one with the Catholic Central Medical Center in July.
Collaboration with several leading hospitals is essential in developing high-quality medical services using ultra-large AI technology. Through this joint research, Kakao Brain plans to increase research competitiveness by actively supporting the development of medical services that apply ultra-large AI models, with the goal of helping with the diagnosis and diagnosis of diseases, including incurable diseases that are difficult to diagnose.
Kakao Brain and Korea University Anam Hospital are working to ▲build research infrastructure necessary for data learning ▲medical advice and academic exchange ▲prove clinical usefulness for technology commercialization to conduct large-scale AI research and development in the medical field.
In particular, we plan to improve the accuracy and efficiency of medical services through the application of ultra-large AI models to the medical field, starting with medical imaging.
