Naver announced that it has signed an ‘Agreement to Support Hyperscale AI Education’ with Incheon Talent University and will begin expanding the base of ultra-scale artificial intelligence (AI) and nurturing related talent.

At the agreement ceremony held at Naver’s new building 1784 on the 30th, officials from both sides, including Incheon Talent University President Kim Jin-hyung and Naver Clova CIC CEO Jeong Seok-geun, attended and promised cooperation.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate in establishing educational programs related to Naver’s large-scale AI ‘Hyperclova’. Specifically, the plan is to incorporate an educational program related to ‘Clova Studio’, a ‘no-code AI’ tool based on ‘Hyperclova’, into Incheon National University’s coursework.

Students participating in related classes are expected to learn how to use ‘Clova Studio’, which is currently in closed beta service, and use it directly to increase their understanding of ultra-scale AI and ‘no-code AI’ in industrial settings.

Kim Jin-hyung, president of Incheon Talent University, said, “With ‘no-code AI’ emerging as a major trend in AI development, it will be an opportunity for students to acquire related skills by using ‘Clova Studio’ in class.” “We will further expand the curriculum in the future and continue active communication with Naver,” he said.

Jeong Seok-geun, CEO of Naver Clova CIC (independent company), said, “Naver’s large-scale AI has not only been applied to various Naver services such as Clova Note and Clova Care Call, but also helps external partners such as startups create AI-based services through Clova Studio. “It is being utilized,” he said. “Through this agreement, we hope that students at school will be able to experience and grow with large-scale AI technology.”
