Pixel Play announced on the 15th that it has signed a marketing agreement with Polygon, an Ethereum expansion platform that supported Web3 onboarding, and will develop its P2E game ‘Pixel Battle’ based on the Polygon network.
Pixel Play is an NFT-based Web3 game developer founded by developers from Gamevil (currently Com2uS Holdings), JCE (currently Joy City), and Ideabox. We are currently recruiting investors and partners to join Pixel Battle’s successful global service.
Polygon is the most notable chain in Ethereum Layer 2 for its low cost and fast processing speed, and is developer-friendly with a variety of support policies. It is known as a representative platform that supports Web3 games through collaboration with Ubisoft, Animoca, Decentraland, Sandbox, and Atari.
Jinbae Park, CEO of Pixel Play, said, “We expect Polygon’s technological innovation and game-friendly policies to be the best partner for the Pixel Battle service we are developing,” adding, “The capabilities of both companies will create maximum synergy to spread Pixel Battle.” “We will do our best to inform the world,” he said.
Urvit Goel, Head of Global Game Business at Polygon, said, “We are pleased to collaborate with Pixel Play to supply quality games to the Polygon gaming ecosystem.” He added, “Polygon actively supports Pixel Battle and promotes it to the world. “We will do our best to cooperate to provide smooth service.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Pixel Battle’ open beta service is scheduled to start in October, starting with Mecca NFT minting.
