Krafton Co., Ltd. released the 20.1 update for ‘PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (hereinafter referred to as Battlegrounds)’ on the 13th.
In the 20.1 update, gun play balance adjustments were made. The recoil of guns in the driver’s seat and passenger seat has been adjusted to reflect user opinions that shooting while riding a vehicle is too advantageous. Gun recoil increases by 20% and 10%, respectively, and gun reload time in the driver’s seat increases by 50%. In particular, if a user sitting in the driver’s seat operates the steering wheel while reloading a gun, the reload will be canceled immediately.
In addition, the balance of some attachments, such as thumb grip, angle handle, half grip, vertical handle, and light grip, has been adjusted so that users can use a wider variety of weapon attachments tactically. An 8x or higher scope can be mounted on the assault rifle (AR) M16A4 and Mk47 Mutant, and up to a 6x scope can be mounted on the shotgun (SG) O12.
A new rotation that reflects user opinions is also applied to the map. ▲Erangel ▲Miramar ▲Taego ▲Sanhok ▲Karakin are open for general play, and ▲Erangel ▲Miramar ▲Taego are open for competitive play. In particular, in Deston, the safety zone ratio of Blue Zone Phases 1 and 2 has increased, but the amount of Blue Zone damage inflicted on the radio jamming backpack has also increased, requiring more tactical play. The radio jamming backpack spawns only in the world of Miramar, Karakin, Haven, and Deston maps. Various decorations, such as flags and electronic signs, were added to Erangel, Miramar, and Taego to commemorate the ‘PUBG Global Championship 2022’ to be held in November.
With the start of competitive season 20, rewards for season 19 will also be granted. The list of rewards such as emblems and nameplates varies depending on the final season rank, and if you reach the gold tier or higher, you can receive a ‘parachute skin’. Rewards, excluding parachutes and medals, which are permanent collection items, can only be owned during the relevant competitive season, and are automatically recovered when server maintenance begins at the end of the season.
