Plotik, a logistics automation robot startup, unveiled its first prototype at ‘SCM Fair’, a distribution, logistics and supply chain management industry exhibition. Plotik recently attracted attention by attracting pre-A investment worth 3.4 billion won.
Plotik is developing an autonomous robot solution that can increase picking work speed and operational efficiency in e-commerce logistics centers. By utilizing robots and AI technologies, logistics center automation can be realized without building additional infrastructure.
The first prototype unveiled by Plotik consists of ▲autonomous driving robot ▲logistics specialized server. It is very easy to link with the existing warehouse management system (WMS, Warehouse Management System), and is characterized by being able to operate immediately the day after the robot arrives.
Recently, actual logistics were processed at the fulfillment company’s logistics center in Gimpo, and productivity was increased by up to 250% with prototypes alone. In particular, it significantly shortened the moving and picking time of picking workers and provided the data needed to manage the stocking and shipping process.
Chan Lee, CEO of Plotik, said, “We completed the prototype faster than expected, and the actual environment test results were also successful.” He added, “Starting with the SCM Fair, we will seek to collaborate with more potential customers and advance the solution.”
Meanwhile, Plotik is a startup being nurtured with investment from Naver D2SF.
