Food waste accounts for 9% of the world’s carbon emissions, and various regulations to reduce food waste are putting pressure on companies, increasing their difficulties. To solve this problem, Nubi Lab developed ‘AI Food Scanner’.

‘AI Food Scanner’ automatically analyzes the food provided to the user, the food consumed by the user, and the food left behind within one second. Non-contact, real-time AI food scanning technology measures the amount of food to help business operators operate more efficiently, and calculates calorie intake and nutritional content to improve the eating habits of food consumers.

In addition, it provides ▲ ESG index management of cafeterias ▲ drinking water prediction ▲ water and order optimization ▲ eating habits management service for users.

Nubi Lab’s solution targets B2B and B2G who want to reduce food waste and restaurant operating costs, and is expanding its reach to B2C with the launch of a mobile AI food diary.

Kim Hee-jung, marketing leader at Nubi Lab, said, “We plan to develop not only a solution to reduce food waste, but also an integrated system technology that can manage and adjust the carbon generated in all processes from food production to distribution and consumption.” We are developing a mobile app targeting B2C that can analyze the nutrients of food consumed using before and after photos. “I am confident that it will play an important role in combination with various fields of healthcare,” he explained.

He continued, “We want to collaborate with various companies that can collaborate with our eating habits analysis service,” and “We are also open to global companies interested in ESG around the world and food service companies that want to operate restaurants efficiently.”
