Pandora TV, which provided a domestic video streaming service, will end its service 18 years after it began.
Pandora TV posted a service termination notice on its official website. The service end date is 24:00 on January 31, 2023, and all data will be destroyed after that.
The company said, “We sincerely thank our customers who have supported Pandora TV so far, and it is with a heavy heart that we announce the end of the service.” “Due to continued deterioration in profitability over the past few years, it has become difficult to operate any longer, so we will inevitably end on January 31, 2023.” “It has been done,” a notice was posted.
Pandora TV was established in 1999 and began operations in earnest in 2004. It is a video platform that ranked first in the number of unique visitors until YouTube entered Korea in January 2008.
Meanwhile, Pandora TV users can download the posted videos until 24:00 on January 31, 2023.
