The Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Innovation Center), the operating organization of the Pangyo Startup Zone, announced that it held an inauguration ceremony for the ‘2nd Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center UIUX Design College Student Supporters’ (hereinafter referred to as the 2nd UIUX Design College Student Supporters) on the 27th.

The ‘2nd UIUX Design College Student Supporters’ inauguration ceremony began with an introduction to the Gyeonggi Innovation Center and continued with guidance on supporters’ activities and announcement of plans. Afterwards, an event was held to introduce the Gyeonggi Innovation Center’s incubator companies participating as UI/UX supporters.

This time, supporters began recruiting college students, students on leave of absence, and graduates from the 28th of last month, and a total of 6 people were selected based on UI/UX-related experience and the supporters’ capabilities.

The ‘2nd UIUX Design College Student Supporters’ will be active for approximately 3 months from December to March 2023. In order to advance the UI/UX of Gyeonggi Innovation Center incubator companies, activities such as ▲company analysis ▲planning improvement plans ▲UI/UX design production are carried out in cooperation with companies.

Supporters will not only participate in UI/UX planning directly during the process, but will also experience practical experience through matching with UI/UX experts currently active in the field. Among these, outstanding supporters will be published in promotional articles and receive additional rewards.

A college student supporter who was one of the first UI/UX supporters said, “I was able to gain a variety of practical experiences through the Gyeonggi Innovation Center’s supporter activities,” and “I gained more advanced practical experience than the curriculum, which helped me get a job and boosted my confidence.” “It happened,” he said.

An official at the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “We plan to continue to support the advancement of UI and UX of incubating companies in the future and recruit supporters for the Gyeonggi Innovation Center,” and added, “Furthermore, we plan to support recruitment linkage for start-up companies.”
