‘N.D.LIGHT Co., Ltd. (CEO Jinyoung Park)’ announced on the 19th that it has recently updated the new functions of N.D.A.D. It is expected to be reborn as a metaverse content production program that will lead the next-generation gaming industry in earnest.

N.Light is a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone, established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and operated by the Korea Startup Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center. Develops and operates domestic 3D design software N.D.CAD.

N.Light has been updated with a 3D design program suitable for the online game platform ‘Roblox’, which is currently the most used by the MZ generation. The ‘Texture Mapping’ function, which plays a major role in building the metaverse, was introduced to NdotCAD and the racing game ‘NdotRider’ was launched by applying 3D modeling files to Roblox.

Through this application to Roblox, the possibility of directly applying and executing game elements of N.D.CAD was confirmed. Expectations are high that in the future, the updated N.D.CAD will be able to implement more vibrant 3D content while providing related education to users.

Park Jin-young, CEO of End.Light, emphasized, “In the future, we will be able to use End.CAD to create customized games and other content on online game platforms such as Roblox.”

3D design programs currently available on the market have the disadvantage of being too heavy and difficult to master. On the other hand, N.D.CAD is currently dominating the market with a light capacity of about 100mb and an easy and convenient 3D modeling function, and the company explains that it is also suitable for the relatively younger MZ generation.

Meanwhile, N.D.LIGHT plans to demonstrate the effectiveness of metaverse content education using N.D.CAD and the excellence of N.D.CAD for next-generation 3D design education through the ‘Korea Education Fair’ held in May. Events for visitors, including discounts on N.D.CAD licenses, are provided.
