ADT Caps (CEO Park Jin-hyo) announced on the 15th that it signed a business agreement with the National Fire Agency, SK Telecom, and Happy Connect to advance the AI-based emergency rescue system. Through this agreement, we will provide support for safe independent living of vulnerable groups such as seniors living alone and the disabled in accordance with the characteristics of each partner organization.

The agreement ceremony held at the National Fire Agency located in Sejong City on the 14th was attended by executives and employees of each organization, including ADT Caps Operations Director Jeong Young-cheol, National Fire Agency 119 Rescue and Emergency Department Director Bae Deok-gon, SK Telecom ESG Manager Lee Jun-ho, and Happy Connect Executive Director Park Dae-ho. This agreement ceremony was prepared to commemorate the number of 119 rescues through the ‘Artificial Intelligence Care’ service exceeding 100 and to solidify the cooperation system between each organization.

‘Artificial Intelligence Care’ provided by ADT Caps, SK Telecom, and Happy Connect is an AI-based care service targeting the vulnerable. Service users can use the artificial intelligence speaker ‘NUGU’ to receive various help such as obtaining daily life information, medication time reminders, and listening to music.

In particular, when a service user calls ‘Emergency SOS’ with voice commands such as ‘Save me’, ‘Save me’, or ‘Help’ in an emergency situation, the call is received by the ADT Caps control center. ADT Caps provides services to respond to emergency situations, such as reporting to 119 if it is determined that an emergency situation requires dispatch after assessing the situation.

Through this agreement, the National Fire Agency will guide the contents and methods of operating the ‘Emergency SOS’ of the ‘Artificial Intelligence Care’ service to each city and provincial fire headquarters to establish an organic public-private cooperation system. ADT Caps, SK Telecom, and Happy Connect support guidance and registration for the National Fire Agency’s ‘119 Safe Call Service’ to enable customized first aid and transportation for users of the ‘Artificial Intelligence Care’ service. If you register your phone number, address, disease, etc. in advance with the ‘119 Safe Call Service’, you can obtain prompt medical service by identifying the reporter’s information in the event of an emergency.

In addition, ADT Caps, SK Telecom, Happy Connect, and the National Fire Agency plan to take the lead in establishing a care system and creating a safe community so that the vulnerable can become independent in a safe and healthy environment.

ADT Caps Operations Manager Young-cheol Jeong said, “ADT Caps will continue to develop care services for the vulnerable by combining its security technology and ICT, and will focus on strengthening the community safety net.” “We will expand ESG management activities by expanding various life care businesses that can help,” he said.
