Krafton (CEO Kim Chang-han) released the ‘PUBG Universe’-based documentary ‘Mysteries Unknown: Birth of the Battlegrounds’ on the 22nd, which contains the secret story of the birth of ‘Battlegrounds’.
This documentary is PUBG Universe content released ahead of the short film ‘Ground Zero’, which was scheduled to be released on June 26th.
‘Mystery Unknown’ is a documentary featuring actor Jonathan Frakes, who became famous in Korea through Star Trek, as the host, and provides a story based on Krafton’s representative game Battleground IP.
Mystery Unknown: The Birth of Battlegrounds unfolds by comprehensively linking the PUBG Universe stories and looking into the background of Battlegrounds. As Jonathan Frakes thoroughly delves into the background of Battleground through interviews with various officials and experts, you can get one step closer to learning about the secrets of Battleground.
At the end of the video, a trailer video for the short film Ground Zero starring Ma Dong-seok is released. Ground Zero is a short film with a running time of about 9 minutes.
PUBG Universe contents are connected to Battleground’s season updates. ‘TAEGO’, a location set as the background of Ground Zero, is a new map of Battleground known by the code name ‘Tiger’. Taigo attracted attention for its 8×8 map, released for the first time in about three years, set in Korea.
