Foundation System Co., Ltd. This company provides a personal ‘CAMA (Care Manager)’ service that enables health management.

Foundation System’s CAMA is a platform that automatically creates and recommends personalized care tracks, and based on its features and advantages, the company has obtained certification as an innovative growth type venture company. In particular, Foundation System collaborated with Chung-Ang University Hospital Cancer Center (D-CAM) last year and demonstrated the effectiveness of CAMA in improving self-efficacy and reducing anxiety and depression in 60 breast cancer patients.

CAMA provides △ a care track service that organizes health information tailored to each patient’s individual characteristics by date, △ management of visit and medication schedules to help with treatment compliance, △ health promotion coaching service that assists with sleep, exercise, and eating habits, and △ support for mental management during treatment. It is characterized by providing psychological services as its main service. It boasts versatility for a variety of indications and is recognized as a life-friendly service that helps treat patients with chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, hyperlipidemia, spinal disease, and skin disease, and guides self-health management.

As a result, CAMA, which achieved sales of 100 million won in Korea alone, is gradually expanding its target diseases to lung cancer, colon cancer, and thyroid cancer based on its excellent effects, and Foundation System plans to begin entering the overseas market in earnest from 2025.

An official from Foundation System said, “Through this government-supported project, we hope that patients will be able to accurately, easily, and quickly obtain the information they need to treat and manage their disease.” He added, “We hope to provide a reliable and reliable service that supports treatment and self-care.” The information will not only have an excellent effect in helping patients complete their treatment plan, but will also increase the capabilities needed to return to daily life. “More than anything, it is very important to resolve the asymmetry in healthcare information for cancer patients,” he said, explaining the background to his participation in this project.

He continued, “We will pursue cooperation with four domestic university hospitals and develop our business with university hospital cancer centers as our main target.” He added, “CAMA provides services such as collaboration between doctors in various fields, easily obtained through smartphones.” “Patient satisfaction is high due to the advantage of being able to do this, and for medical staff, it will have a great synergy effect by serving as a support tool to supplement patient-facing time, which is inevitably lacking under current conditions.”

Meanwhile, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA, Director Heo Seong-wook) aims to promote the distribution of non-face-to-face services in areas closely related to people’s daily lives, such as business, daily consumption, education/evaluation, and well-being/health in the pandemic era. We are pursuing a ‘service revitalization project’. Starting in 2021, as the non-face-to-face digital economy accelerates across the economy and society in response to the great digital transformation in the post-corona era, this project will select and support key investment areas focusing on services that urgently require non-face-to-face transformation. Foundation System has been selected in the wellness and health field.
