LAZEN Co., Ltd. (CEO Park Young-sun), a next-generation new technology-based platform company that combines artificial intelligence and blockchain, was selected for ‘NextRise 2021, Seoul’, a comprehensive startup competition jointly hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and KDB Korea Development Bank, and held an exhibition. It was announced on the 7th.
NextRise 2021 is an event held for the third time this year and is Korea’s largest comprehensive startup competition launched with the purpose of connecting domestic and foreign startups, companies, and investors and promoting global business cooperation.
Lazen’s blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS)-based distribution platform is a next-generation big data distribution solution that applies non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and automatically classifies and labels data and content based on an artificial intelligence engine.
By applying this technology to the problem of the existing big data market, which is the lack of data supply and the enormous expenditure of funds by companies demanding data, an unlimited distribution network was implemented.
Recently, Lazen completed the construction of an intellectual property (IP) patent map, currently holds 25 patents, and is experiencing explosive growth in the commercialization sector by signing MOUs with 15 organizations.
Meanwhile, LAZEN is a company located in the Pangyo Startup Zone, established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and jointly operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center, and is receiving customized accelerator support such as commercialization funding, investment linkage support, and open innovation.
