Odin Robotics Co., Ltd. was selected by the government as a company with smart stores that will lead the transition to a non-face-to-face/digital economy.
Last month, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Business Corporation (SMBA) announced plans to develop smart and digitalization of consumer distribution sites, such as VR (virtual reality), AR (augmented reality), AI (artificial intelligence), and IoT (Internet of Things). We recruited companies with technology. Companies targeted for recruitment are those with smart technologies such as smart mirrors, serving robots, and kiosks that can be applied to small business establishments, and those with smart ordering technology, a mobile-based non-face-to-face order payment system.
Odin Robotics has a history of developing Korea’s first general store-type unmanned butcher solution and unmanned PC room control solution, and is currently receiving business proposals from various industries such as supermarkets and optical stores. We have the know-how to find ideas and implement technologies that can be applied to actual stores through data such as the needs of store owners by industry accumulated during the development of the proposed business. Based on this experience, it is expected to be competitive in building smart stores as well as developing and supplying services specialized for the industry.
An official from Odin Robotics said, “We are happy that we can help small business owners strengthen their self-reliance and competitiveness with our unique AI solution, from kiosk payments, which are the basics of unmanned stores, to security, which is one of the biggest concerns.” “We expect that we will take the first step toward coexistence and development through collaboration with small business owners who are facing problems such as declining sales and difficulties in recruiting.”
Meanwhile, in order to help small business owners overcome COVID-19 and reduce costs, Odin Robotics plans to soon launch a free upgrade and special 50% monthly discount promotion with a product with advanced AI functions specialized for unmanned store operation. More details can be found on the Odin Robotics blog.
