Big data edutech venture company ‘Flex Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoon Sun-il)’ signed an MOU for joint research on edutech technology for the advanced development of ‘Kids Diary’, an AI psychological counseling app for infants and toddlers, with ‘Beaversoft Co., Ltd. (CEO Seung-gon Noh), a platform development company. It was announced on the 17th that the agreement had been signed.

The main contents of this agreement are ▲ edtech technical cooperation ▲ business cooperation to secure the infant and toddler and education market ▲ business and service strategic agreement for customized education, etc., which both companies agreed to recognize and resolve together through cooperation.

‘Kids Diary’ collects and analyzes data from the video picture diaries of infants and toddlers aged 4 to 6 who are immature in expressing their emotions and provides an interactive service to children and parents. Children are provided with psychological counseling and character education services through a play method of exchanging diary replies with a character friend, and parents are provided with a parenting guide tailored to their child’s psychological state.

In addition, a ‘one-to-one message’ function between professional psychologists and parents was recently added. This service provides customized messages to parents after a professional psychologist directly observes the child’s video diary. It has received favorable reviews from parenting bloggers and mom cafes and is spreading word of mouth.

Sunil Yoon, CEO of Flex Co., Ltd., said, “Through this agreement, we will analyze the unconscious habit patterns that appear when children express their emotions, and advance the level of analysis to be able to analyze emotional states not only through facial expressions and tone of voice, but also through behavior.”

Seung-gon Noh, CEO of Beaversoft Co., Ltd., said, “We will expand into a new education service platform by adding facial expressions and speaking technology to ‘No Cheating,’ our ‘online exam cheating detection’ solution.”
