    [Pangyo Tech] Pangyo Startup Zone successfully completed the last investment briefing session in 21, ‘8th Startup 815’

    The Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Shin Hyun-sam, hereinafter referred to as ‘Gyeonggi Innovation Center’), the startup zone operating organization, announced that the ‘8th Startup 815’ held on the 25th was successfully concluded.

    The Startup Zone was established in 2017 by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to intensively nurture promising entrepreneurs in new industries, and is the largest startup support space in Korea operated by the Startup Promotion Agency and the Gyeonggi Innovation Center.

    Startup 815 is an investment briefing session that has been held monthly in each field since April of this year in collaboration with related organizations such as the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, Gyeonggi Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, and Gachon University. It consists of a ‘Jump Up Round’ for startups less than 3 years old, and a ‘Scale Up Round’ for startups less than 3 to 7 years old.

    The 8th Startup 815 was held at the collaboration lounge on the 6th floor of the Startup Zone as the last integrated IR day of 2021.

    Participating companies on this day include △ Glad Park Co., Ltd. (Metaverse language exchange mobile solution ‘Say Duo’) △ LuxPM Co., Ltd. (3D digitization and object recognition system for object recognition based on simple shooting with lidar sensor and AR-based mobile devices) △ Pandora Co., Ltd. Project (platform for limited edition kidult collectors and artists) △ Enco Withers Co., Ltd. (long-term lodging for foreigners, ‘Enkor Housing’) △ JRD Works Co., Ltd. (smart home care service platform ‘Knock Knock’) △ Lucid Dream Co., Ltd. (photo-based companion service) Animal life cycle management app service ‘Cherry’) △HN Novatech Co., Ltd. (Eco-friendly natural alternative meat materials and application products) A total of 7 companies participated and introduced their services, technology, and vision.

    Participating judges included North Mountain, K-Lun Ventures, Hana Ventures, Infobank, Signite Partners, Daedong Investment, KT Investment, and S Ventures.

    After the company presentation, there was time for networking and feedback between participating companies and investment company officials. Among the seven companies on this day, ‘Pandora Project Co., Ltd.’ was selected as the best company in the jump-up round, and ‘Lucid Dream Co., Ltd.’ was selected as the most excellent company in the scale-up round. Each company was given the opportunity to have a 1:1 follow-up meeting with the investment company of their choice.

    An official at the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “The Gyeonggi Innovation Center is performing the role of a public accelerator,” and added, “We will faithfully fulfill our role as a startup hub where people, information, ideas, and investments can naturally come together in 2022.” .

    Meanwhile, the Pangyo Startup Zone is a ‘startup hub where people, information, ideas, and investments gather’ and is carrying out the duties of Korea’s largest startup support cluster, including business advancement (investment, support for attracting, linking with large corporations) and development of sales channels (global advancement).
