Cravel (CEO Kim Jin-hyung) will be holding the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from Wednesday, July 28th to Friday, July 3th. He announced that he would participate in ‘.

Crable is a company that seeks solutions to fundamental problems in the primary industry through cutting-edge technology. As problems such as aging and hiring shortages continue in the agricultural industry, which requires an absolutely large number of manpower, autonomous driving terminals attached to agricultural machinery and autonomous driving-based robot platforms are being developed and proposed as a means of replacing manpower. Based on these efforts, the company explains that it aims to achieve complete automation of agriculture with minimal management manpower.

At this exhibition, Cravel will showcase its autonomous driving solution attached to agricultural machinery. This is a modular kit that provides technology close to the cutting edge by simply attaching it to agricultural machinery and separately to older agricultural machinery. The focus is on providing new technology at a much more reasonable price compared to the cutting-edge agricultural machinery that has recently been commercialized.

These products are based on Cravel’s advanced autonomous driving technology and telematics technology. Accurate location tracking and precise autonomous driving are possible through the combined use of RTK (Real Time Kinematic) technology, a high-precision positioning technology, and IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), an inertial sensor. The stopping error is within 2.5cm and the running error is within 5cm. It has excellent precision and work stability.

Along with these autonomous driving technologies, telematics terminals and platforms can remotely control autonomous robots and vehicles, and provide functions such as real-time monitoring, route analysis, and work plan establishment.

A Crable official said, “We decided to participate in this exhibition to introduce how autonomous driving technology is actually used in agricultural fields and how the company is innovating the agricultural environment.” He added, “Not only to promote the company internally and externally, but also to create new collaborations. “We are looking forward to finding partners for models and agricultural automation.”

He continued, “Our autonomous driving solutions and telematics technology will accelerate the complete automation of agriculture through collaboration with various agricultural machinery manufacturers,” and “We plan to sequentially launch automatic feeders and weeding robots, starting with self-driving SS machines in 2023.” “We plan to introduce precision farming solutions and expand our services to secure maximum production at minimum cost,” he added.

Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
