    JGreenBio unveils companion animal health functional food ‘New Care Joint Health’ at AFRO 2023… “Exercise differentiated functions without side effects!”

    J Green Bio Co., Ltd. (CEO Heo Jeong-eun) will be attending the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 26 (Wed) to 28 (Fri). 3)’.

    J Green Bio is a company that has commercialized functional foods for the improvement of bone and joint diseases and the prevention and treatment of cancer through the scientification of natural ingredients prescribed as oriental medicine. Based on biomarker technology, the company is developing a diagnosis kit for preventing arthritis and cancer, and a healthcare platform, and through this, it aims to contribute to the improvement of human and companion animal health and a virtuous economic cycle.

    In this exhibition, J Green Bio will introduce ‘New Care Joint Health’, a functional food for joint cartilage and patella health for companion animals. This product was developed by Kyung Hee Medical Center’s western and oriental medical staff and medical scientists with expertise, and it is a product that uses natural ingredients that have been patented for its ability to improve arthritis.

    J Green Bio emphasized that it had secured differentiated oriental medicine raw material data and experimental results on the skin, hair quality, age, and joints of companion animals for product development. As a result, New Care Joint Health boasts superior effects and safety compared to existing products of other companies by providing functions such as joint protection, cartilage regeneration, patella health improvement, anti-inflammation, and muscle strengthening.

    An official said, “Food, snacks, nutrients, and treatments for joint health of companion animals lacked fundamental therapeutic effects such as pain relief and joint cartilage protection. In addition, it caused side effects such as gastric ulcers when taken for a long time,” he added.

    “As this is the first product to be unveiled through AFRO 2023, we will focus on informing the industry and consumers about it,” he said.

    Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
