Blagen Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Gwan-hyung) will hold the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 28th (Wed) to 3th (Fri). ‘ said he would participate.
Founded in 1990, Blazen is a brand company that has been a spin-off of air conditioning and refrigeration companies for more than 30 years. Based on heat exchanger design and manufacturing technology, it produces products in all fields such as home, ship, and industrial heat exchangers.
Through this exhibition, we introduce ‘water-cooled air conditioner’. It is a product boasting high energy efficiency that reduces maintenance costs by 90% compared to oil heaters and 70% compared to electric heaters when actually used in farmhouses. In addition, it adjusts the proper growth temperature and humidity to remove fog or moisture in the early morning, thereby helping to improve crop quality.
An official from Blazen said, “We use groundwater as a heat source and use a heat pump to control cooling and heating.” Delivery times can be controlled. Another advantage is that it is possible to increase the generation of crude income by advancing the harvesting period,” he introduced.
The water-cooled air conditioner can adjust the temperature through a 24-step timer smart control, which eliminates the need to manually adjust the temperature in the past. In addition, as a heat pump type product, it boasts zero carbon emissions and is suitable for smart farms that contribute to a carbon-neutral society.
An official from Blazen said, “We are steadily exporting heat exchangers using groundwater overseas. In addition, in Korea, the customer satisfaction of farmers who use it is high, so continuous introduction and sales are being made.” As for the reason, he said, “Now that carbon neutrality and abnormal temperature issues have become a hot topic, our products do not emit carbon, so users are more responsive. It is expected to be high,” he said.
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
