Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency (President Ahn Ho-geun) held ‘Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 7’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for three days from July 26th (Wed) to 28th (Fri). ) participated in.
Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency is an institution dedicated to the industrial promotion of agricultural technology, and is practicing ESG as a public institution, such as supporting venture start-ups, technological industrialization, and spreading smart agriculture so that the agricultural industry can create new values.
In the environment sector, we are implementing a clean agricultural environment through support for greenhouse gas reduction, promoting the safety of farmers through social responsibility-related agricultural machine inspection, ethical compliance management related to transparent management, and operating a board of directors composed of experts.
At this exhibition, a booth promoting the ‘Let’s Play with Unico’ program caught the attention of the visitors. This is a space prepared so that many people can recognize and enjoy ESG values. Together with the official mascot Unico, ‘This temperature is perfect’, ‘Tell me about safety’, and ‘Ask the labor manager anything’ programs will be held at ESG Playground.
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
