Itmaple participated in the ‘7 Agri & Food Tech Start-up Rising Expo 26’ held at COEX Hall A in Seoul for 28 days from Wednesday, July 3th to Friday, 2023th.
Itmaple is a systematic solution company that identifies health status, matches a numerical-based diet, and provides 1:1 customized nutrition coaching through cooking and delivery. The subscription product, which consists of a customized diet for each disease in the form of a meal kit that has been washed and pre-processed, has the advantage of being able to be consumed with simple cooking in less than 10 minutes.
The data-based customized medifood introduced at this exhibition includes everything from meal guides to main dishes and side dishes in meal kits. As a meal management service centered on (customized) dietary therapy for each health condition, officials explained that it even captured the taste.
An official from Itmaple said, “We have been reviewed by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, and we provide meals based on data that are appropriate for the health of patients. It is popular among heart disease patients, and cancer or diabetes patients can also take food that matches their data through Medifood. Through courier delivery, you can have meals all over the country the next day after applying.”
Meanwhile, at AFRO 2023, the largest Agtech & Foodtech event in Korea, domestic startups with global growth potential in Agtech, Foodtech, and Green Bio will exhibit products and services to solve various problems in the agriculture and food industries, Various programs such as conferences discussing the present and future of Agtech and Foodtech and investment briefings (IR competitions) are held. This exhibition is hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and supervised by the Korea Agricultural Technology Promotion Agency, NH Nonghyup, COEX, and the Korea Food Tech Council.
