K-Rami Co., Ltd. (CEO Na Ok-yeol) announced that it will participate in ‘K-PRINT 8’, which will be held from August 23 (Wed) to 26 (Sat) at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2 in Ilsan.
Established in 2004, K-Rami is a company that produces BOPP, PET thermal laminating films and industrial thermal laminating films. In response to the market demand as digital printers spread, the company began developing BOPP and PET digital thermal laminating films. In addition, in 2014, it acquired the right to import and distribute laminator from Tauler laminating SL, Spain, and is promoting and selling in Asian and domestic markets.
In this exhibition, K-Lami plans to introduce various thermal laminating film products and technology. In particular, it plans to introduce and communicate the characteristics of digital thermal laminating film and eco-friendly thermal laminating (certification in progress) to Asian customers through K-Print 2023, which were mainly sold in overseas markets. Tauler laminating’s laminator is also on display.
Regarding this, K-Rami said, “We are producing high-quality BOPP/PET thermal laminating films using high-quality domestic raw materials (base film, thermal bonding resin).” There are two grades: Digital-Premium. Digital-Standard provides reasonable adhesion and price for digital prints, and provides perfect adhesion quality for Digital-Premium digital prints.”
Coating machines (Smart B3_semi-automatic, Smart B3 Matic_full-automatic) were designed and produced in Europe, and were introduced as easy-to-use products with excellent quality (durability) and user-oriented interface. It passed KC safety certification and electromagnetic wave EMC certification to secure high quality and safety.
K-Rami said, “We have completed the development of thermal laminating films using eco-friendly or recycled materials in line with the global carbon neutralization trend, and are preparing to obtain eco-friendly certification. Reflecting the Asian market environment that prefers high-quality, competitively priced products, we are discussing ways to produce Smart B3 Matic (automatic) and Smart B3 (semi-automatic) machines in the future in consultation with the Spanish headquarters (Tauler laminating SL) in Korea. “In addition, we plan to participate in the Drupa 2024 exhibition as a joint booth with Tauler laminating tech SL, and through the exhibition, we plan to provide a venue for promoting and communicating with customers around the world about our thermal laminating film.” told
