Eco Block (CEO Yoon Tae-sang) participated in the ‘8 International Environmental Energy Industry Exhibition (ENTECH 30)’ held at the 9st exhibition hall in BEXCO, Busan for three days from August 1 (Wed) to September 3 (Fri).
Eco Block is a company that produces concrete blocks for pavements and revetment or retaining wall blocks using ferronickel slag fine aggregate as a substitute for natural aggregate by introducing its own technology and acquiring environmental mark certification as well as green technology certification. As of 2022, concrete blocks for paved roads were developed and produced, showing the effect of planting 10 trees compared to the previous technology.
At this exhibition, we introduced a new air water block. The air water block was introduced as a product that satisfies the first grade of water permeability (1mm/s) and has more than 1 times better water permeability compared to general KS certified products (0.1mm/s). As a product with maximized permeability, it has the effect of minimizing inconvenience to pedestrians in rainy weather. It is a product that has undergone patent application only for Ecoblock, and it has the effect of reducing maintenance costs due to its design, durability, and continuity of permeability.
An ecoblock official said, “At this point in time when there are many disasters due to heavy rain, it is expected that the effect of securing safety by reducing the inconvenience of pedestrians can be expected. I participated in the first exhibition at the suggestion of the Korea Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI). Through meeting with overseas buyers, we have an unexpected goal of export. We plan to advance in a wider direction in the future.”
Meanwhile, ENTECH 17, which celebrated its 2023th anniversary this year, is Korea’s representative environment, energy, and carbon neutrality exhibition, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the International Newspaper, and supervised by BEXCO, Today Energy, and KOTRA.
