CTA Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Hyun-soon) participated in the ‘8 International Environmental Energy Industry Exhibition (ENTECH 30)’ held at the 9st exhibition hall in BEXCO, Busan for three days from August 1 (Wed) to September 3 (Fri).

CTA is a company that develops and applies clean products and materials necessary to establish a proactive production system. Started as a POSCO in-house venture in 2004, it is developing products through consulting activities in the environmental and chemical fields.

At this exhibition, ‘ChemLix’, an impedance-type chemical leakage detection sensor, was introduced. It is a product that can discriminately detect leaking chemicals by the displacement of the impedance value formed when liquid chemicals come into contact between two electrodes. It has the advantage of being able to detect all hazardous liquid species notified by the Ministry of Environment, such as organic solvents and oil, as well as acids and alkalis.

In addition, “It is a product that can be reused semi-permanently and repeatedly. There is no separate maintenance cost, and since it is not reactive with water, it can be installed anywhere indoors or outdoors, and the chemical substance detection time is very fast, within 1 second,” the company explained.

Assistant Manager Song Ga-yeon of CTA, whom we met at the site, said, “It is a certified product that is currently used in many nuclear power plants.” We will introduce our products with product power,” he said.
